Installing front speakers to a 2001 ford escort zx2.
I'm installing front speakers to a 2001 ford escort zx2 but it turns out i need some door panel adapter so that the speakers will have enough depth and so the grills that came with them will sit flat over the door panel. I cannot fine any info online and i don't know who I could call for help. Any info would be appreciated thank you.
i have a 1998 zx2 and i have a 40watt peak pioneer radio that is hooked up to the stock front speakers. I also have infinity 6x9 speakers hooked up to a 240watt amp. The front stock speakers do pretty well and are fairly loud but if you want sound i would spend a little more and get the 6x9's that have at least 100watt rms!!! i haven't touched my stock speakers and they do pretty good without the pain in the ass customization.
