I have always found "Multicore" and even better "Philips" about as good as you can get but Philips is difficult to get and expensive.
Clean up is one thing thats often ignored. Some people dont bother but remeber some modern fluxes will effectively eat the solder joint over time. iso=propyl alcohol is used by some but it's not the best. I would reccomend using a 1 inch brush (25mm) with the bristles cut down to about 10mm (3/8th inch) with orange oil (or any citrus oil) based cleaners. I was one of the guys testing these when they came out in the 1980's and I can promise you the good ones are better than anything else on the market and dont cost a fortune.
